Anti-aging Check

Anti-aging Check

This checkup reviews markers related to aging, so that we look at where you are now before deciding what to receive. We put blood tests, body composition, and the interview side by side to check items related to recovery capacity, metabolism, and inflammation. Testing is not a step toward recommending procedures; it is also material for ruling out procedures you do not need right now.

Recommended for

  • Those weighing several procedures but unsure of the order
  • Those who want to check their condition before starting regenerative care or high-dose IV therapy
  • Those who have had a health screening but never had the results explained
  • Those who want to look into the causes of fatigue and weight change first
  • Those in their 40s and beyond who want to set new care standards suited to their body

Our View

How we see it at Cheongdam Laplace

Testing comes before treatmentLiver and kidney function, blood glucose and lipids, inflammatory markers, thyroid, and vitamin D are the basis for judging which programs can go ahead. The range of what we can recommend changes with these values.
We read context, not just numbersA single value is affected by how you felt that day, whether you fasted, and your recent activity level. Even within the normal range, if a direction of change is visible we note it and compare the same item at the next test.
Test results help us remove proceduresMedical Director Park Sang-hyuk does not add programs when the tests show nothing unusual and there are no clear symptoms. In many cases we suggest keeping only the one thing you need now and leaving the rest until after the next test.

The process

01

Pre-test guidance

We let you know in advance whether fasting or adjusting your medications is needed, and explain the test items and how long they take.

02

Interview and measurement

We measure blood pressure and body composition and review your medical history, family history, and lifestyle to decide together which items to test this time.

03

Blood draw and testing

Blood is drawn according to the selected items. Depending on the item, results usually take 1-7 days.

04

Results consultation

We go over the report together and separate the items that need action now, the items that only need monitoring, and when to retest.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to be tested before I can have a procedure?

Not every procedure requires testing. For programs affected by your overall condition, however, such as high-dose IV therapy or regenerative care, we recommend proceeding after liver and kidney function and infection-related items have been checked.

I had a health screening recently. Do I need to repeat it?

In many cases you do not. If you bring a report from within the past 6 months, we use it as it is and only add the items that are missing. Reducing duplicate testing is also part of what we sort out in the consultation.

What happens if the tests find something abnormal?

Confirming it comes before any cosmetic procedure. If we judge that further testing or care from another specialty is needed, we explain that and ask you to postpone your procedure schedule until those results are settled.

Precautions and possible side effects

  • Pain, bruising, and temporary swelling may occur where blood is drawn.
  • Dizziness, cold sweats, or vasovagal fainting may occur during or right after the blood draw.
  • A long fasting period may cause low blood sugar symptoms such as dizziness.
  • Contact with antiseptic or adhesive bandages may cause skin irritation and itching.
  • A single test value is a snapshot and does not by itself confirm a diagnosis.
  • If you are taking anticoagulants, bleeding may take longer to stop, so please let us know in advance.

Treatment results may vary depending on individual condition, and side effects may occur. Please confirm the details through a consultation with our medical staff.
